Supper Club in San Fernando Valley?

Hi! I am in the central San Fernando Valley. LMK if you'd like to try a Supper Club and how in the world would we start it?

I'm in Encino and am interested in a supper club. I'm a "beginner cook" but pretty good with desserts. Sounds like alot of fun.

I live in Encino and would very much like to begin a supper club. As I am between jobs, I have been cooking up a storm for my boyfriend who is great to experiment on.

I think we should all give a contact phone number to begin with and then meet to decide what our cooking styles are and how they might mesh.

I guess we could keep in touch by checking this bulletin board every few days for positive replies...

I'm in Sherman Oaks. A cooking club sounds great. I changed the way I eat about 6 months ago and am very interested in expanding my knowledge of cooking light. I am an experienced home-cook trained by my food-loving parents.

Well, I think that we should have enough people by now to begin a supper club. If anyone wants to bring along a friend, that would be great, but I think it's best that we keep it under 10 people, don't you all? If anyone is truly interested in making a go of this, I invite you to e-mail me and I'll be the brave one to organize the first meeting...

If anyone is still interested in being part of the supper club, we are holding our first and very informal meeting this Tuesday night. We will be at the Starbucks attached to the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Encino (at the corner of Ventura and Hayvenhurst) at 7:00 pm. Hope to see you there!

We just had our second Supper Club in the Valley last night. Both went very well, and we had great fun! I hosted the first one, and we cooked recipies from the current issue. Last night, Oriana hosted the second one, where we had a Mexican theme. Eveything was delicious. We are only three members and would like to have more join us.
