Hello,
I just joined this because my sister in Georgia found a group this way and I didn't see anyone from the Sacramento area doing a supper club. I live in Woodland, but figured I would cast a wider net and see if anything happens. Please let me know if you would be interested in starting up a group. Basically I love to cook and think it would be fun to get together with others who enjoy cooking as well. I'm more of a "real" or fresh ingredient cook, vs. using lots of cans, pre-made mixes (Sandra Lee is not my idol...although I don't hate her like some people who post on the food network site. I guess I am hoping for more cooks who are inclined that way. I love the idea of the whole slow-food group, but am not sure that I would want to be that restrictive in the creation of this group. I guess I basically don't want someone to show up with a bucket of KFC when I spent 1 1/2 hours making something from scratch... Anyway, these are my thoughts and hopefully a few someones out there responds if interested.
