I have purchased a new computer....question...
How can I transpose some of the things on my old computer to my new one?NOT tech savvy!!! Thanks...

You might want to PM me, but, here are a few things...

If it's just files you want to copy over and your old computer has a usb drive, you could save them to a usb key. (My Documents>Edit>Select All (ctrl-a), Copy (ctrl-c) USBdrive>Edit>Paste(ctrl-V))
If old does not have usb, it might be easier to email some of them since new computers don't come with floppy drives.
Transferring applications is a whole other enchilada.

You can use migration software (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A0110110) and make the move a snap.

What I want moved to the new computer is my Favorites list, my e-mail account, and things listed under my local folders in my e-mail...nothing of great importance, but will need it on the new computer...any further advice...thanks!!!

Favorites is relatively easy. The email will take some doing. What programs are you using? (you can PM me too, if you want)

If you're using Internet Explorer, go to Help>Search, type in "sharing favorites." This topic will give you the whole procedure for transferring them.
