QUESTION: Vegetable Broth v. Beef Broth

Quick opinion question:

I am making Hearty Beef and Potato Stew tonight (CL March 06)but only have vegetable broth...do you think it will be okay taste-wise? Or will it alter it too much?

How much does the recipe call for?
