AOL users?

We do use AOL in our household, but I can't say I'm thrilled with the service.

Lately it's been running very slow, especially in signing on or when switching users. I don't know if it's just our computer (and we're very pluged in with Firewalls and such.) I run Spybot almost every other day.

Anyway, I was wondering if any others who use AOL are experiencing something similar?

I don't have AOL myself, but my friends that do are ALL complaining about the same thing.

I access my old AOL account through my server. My server runs very well most of the time, but when I access AOL mail it is extremely slow, especially when verifying my password.

I am SO glad we left AOL.

I don't use AOL for my connection, but I do use their software/server. I have not been having any problems at all signing on. I love my AOL desktop and would miss it a LOT if I didn't have it. They have the BEST spam filters.

I've been an AOL user since there were only 4 million members. :D

I have not noticed any change in performance. It's true that each new software version is slower than the last ... gotta love that chubby code. :p If you haven't upgraded software, though, I would say it's either your computer OR something with your local dial-in location.

If you don't dial in, it's your 'puter. You might want to do things like clear your cache, reboot, etc.
