It always surprises me when it's this late in the evening and nobody has posted an exercise thread. I hope I didn't miss it.

I got to take a wonderful yoga class today at lunch. What a way to ease into a Monday afternoon. :D

Anyone else get to work out today?

Hi, Melanie! Your class does sound nice. Glad you were able to work it in! :)

I went in early to work for a little while this AM to work on a report, and a little while turned into 8 hours!! I did get a lot done, though. By the time I got home, exercised, fixed dinner, planned a GS meeting and did 3 loads of wash, it was 9:00 before I knew it! But I did do a 40 minute run on the TM with 5 min walking before and after to warm up and cool down. Hopefully some yoga tomorrow.

And I forgot to mention that we did go bowling Saturday with the kids, so that was a little bit of a workout, too. 3 games, and my scores were pitiful, but it was fun! :D

Sheila, DH has issues with plantar fascitis, too, although it has been better with some inserts that his MD recommended. It seems like it is an issue for a lot of people. Hope a little rest takes care of it for you!

Anyone else want to join in?

I just got home from the gym! I did about an hour of strength training. Unfortunately, I have some sore/slightly pulled muscles from yesterday's soccer game that were bugging me. It was a bit of a challenge. Going to take a break tomorrow night and see how I feel on Wednesday.

I have never been to a yoga class before, but I can imagine it would be rejuvinating. I would really like to try tai chi. Has anyone tried it?

I don't really know anything about Tai Chi, but I have wondered about it. I have only seen occasional pictures of people standing in a stance with their arms posed in front of them (kind of karate like for lack of a better description). Have you read anything about it?

Good work on your strength workout, and I hope the day of rest gets those sore muscles back in line again!

Good workouts, everyone!

I didn't get a chance to post last night, but I went to kickboxing class yesterday. We used the stretchy bands during the intervals - my arms are feeling it this morning:p

Gotta run - will post my at-home workout on today's thread (when I do it!)
