I live north of Seattle and I really would like to get involved with a group or help to form a new group. There hasn't been any interest to start a group that includes the whole family, that surprises me. I've gotten 1 response, but I bet there are alot more of you that would enjoy the interaction with other families. I do know how little time there is in a day when we are busy with a family. However, I think it would be a nice break (quarterly) to get together with other families that enjoy cooking. What better way to teach our children the importance of healthy eating? My idea would be to create menus that both the adults and the children would eat while trying new foods. What do you think?
