Hey everyone! Anybody get a workout in to jumpstart their weekend?
I did yoga this morning, then weights and some hillwalking/running on the TM while I watched 24. I am working 12 hour shifts the next two days, so don't know if I'll get much official exercise in. Hopefully I can at least do my yoga before I leave in the mornings.
How about you? Whatcha got? :D

Hi Kathy! You are truly an amazing woman if you can fit in some yoga before going to work a 12-hour shift! Me thinks I am much lazier than you are!!!
Today I did 40 minutes on the Nordic Track. I'm going to try to exercise both days this weekend. Since I'm not working, I don;t have an excuse not to...:o

Good going Kathy and Peggy...
The gym started offering a Friday night yoga class last night. They posted ONE sign so it was poorly attended. BUT...for the three of us who knew about it, we pretty much had a private lesson with an awesome instructor. :D I now have a new weekend routine!!
I did 40 minutes on the treadmill this morning.
Anyone else working out this weekend?

Hello to all the weekend exercisers,
This morning I went to the gym for the hour-long spin class. It was great.

I got in 30 minutes on the Nordic Track this morning. I was very tempted to not exercise but I thought of Kathy doing yoga before going to work and that motivated me to get moving.:) Thanks Kathy!!

Hello everyone!
I went up the mountain today, but it wasn't my usual routine. This morning I got to help out with a 3 hour snowshoe tour. I then did a bit of skate skiing at the end of the day, about 13 km (8 miles). Tomorrow I have a soccer game.
Anyone else??

After a crappy weigh-in at WW yesterday, I went to the gym and worked out for an hour: 30 mins. on the arc trainer, 5 mins. each warm-up/cool-down; about five mins of yoga and 15 mins upper body strength training.
Had to endure a 12-hour fast before a blood test today (no prob. for me -- my self-imposed WW rule is no food after 7 pm). Went out for eggs benedict with DH afterward  , but then went to the gym for a kick-butt hour again this afternoon -- 5 min. walk, 10-min. run; 30 min elliptical; and somewhere between 5-10 min. stretching. Then I STOOD at the tennis club for about 1.5 hours watching some great collegiate tennis.
Back to the gym tomorrow; not sure what I'll do -- depends on how my legs feel.
Next?

I'll check in, but Peggy, I am embarrassed to say I DIDN'T do yoga before work.....just couldn't get up that early today, even though sometimes I have. :o But I read your post and thought, OK, I better do it NOW! So I just finished, and actually it felt really nice after a long day. Think I'll plan to do that again tomorrow. :) Thanks for re-motivating ME!!
Sounds like you had a lot of variety in your day, Jackie. Good job with the workout!
Melanie, your workout with the yoga instructor must have been really great! Nice to get some individual attention.
"See" you all tomorrow!

Where are all the Sunday exercisers?? I did a full body workout this morning.
Kathy, it really was nice having such a small class. That will be the only one like that though. In his Saturday morning class, they're packed in there like sardines!! I don't want to take a yoga class when I'm breathing down someone's neck...and ditto with the person standing behind me. I'm guessing that when he made the announcement yesterday morning, there are probably people who feel the same way about the "closeness" and will be at the Friday class instead starting this week. It was definitely fun for a one-time workout!
Who's next to post for today?

I went to the gym for a cardio/weight workout. Tried a new treadmill workout from Feb. Shape magazine. I worked up quite a sweat:p Also did some upper-body weights and ab work.
Who's next?

Hello Sunday Exercisers!:) We finally had a break in the rain today so our family went on a 3-mile walk together.
Anyone else?

Hi all! Good job on the workouts! Sounds like you all got some nice ones in today.
Sheila, your treadmill workout sounds fun! Our TM has some built in programs, but I have no idea where the handbook is, and I'm a little chicken to just push a button and see where it takes me.
I did do my yoga when I got home this evening. In addition to getting in a bit of exercise today, it also helped relieve a headache that had been coming on all afternoon. Nice bonus! :)
