I am reading old postings and see your request for a supper club in Southeast Denver. I posted a request in March and did not get much of a response. I live in Parker and would be interested in joining/starting a club. Have you joined a club?

Lisa,
Thank you for responding. Let's see how many responses we get in a week. In the meantime, we can read the guidelines others have used for their clubs.:)

Hello. I see I am getting in late in the game here. However, I was wondering if a Southern Denver Supper Club had begun. Any information you could provide about the posibility of joining would be great! Thanks!:)

And I also live in Parker. Sounds like we have a few interested folks... maybe we should pick a time and place to meet. Perhaps somewhere centrally located like the Park Meadows Mall area, or a restaurant on Arapahoe??

I'll be out of town until mid-week next week, but if anyone wants to get together after that, let me know.:)

I am also interested! If the group is too big already, perhaps we could even start another one. Have you met yet? Hope to hear soon and looking forward to getting together.

I am interested in joining/starting a supper club, but I live in the downtown denver area. I will add a posting to the main board, but thought I'd see if any of you are interested in starting up closer to this area. Any takers?

Downtown Denver would also work for me. We live in SE Denver now but are moving to downtown in about six months. I should also mention that my husband and I are vegetarians (no meat, chicken, or fish). Would this be a problem for anyone?

I'm glad to see so many people interested. I would be willing to drive downtown or SE, but are there any people interested in starting a supper club in the SW part of town?

I'm more towards the Evergreen area - anyone that far west?

It seems as though we have quite a bit of interest. Perhaps we should state our priorities, preferences, etc. (i.e. singles, vegetarian, couples, etc.) in addition to the geography. Then let's get going!

I would like to be in a group with my husband--not exclusively couples necessarily--but I think we'd like to do it together. Anyone else interested in including spouses/significant others? Also, we like just about all kinds of food--we are not picky and we are definitely adventurous. I am open to vegetarian but probably would not want to limit all meals to just that (Allison what do you think about including meat dishes on the side or whatever--is that okay with you?)

We live around Arapahoe and Parker Rd. So would prefer the Parker, Aurora, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, etc. area.

My email is DKernsLynch@aol.com. I would be willing to coordinate the first meeting. Those interested email me. This should be fun. Look forward to hearing from you.

I haven't met with any group yet. I'm married, but my husband won't be able to join the group right now. I'm willing to try all types of foods. I live in Stroh Ranch in Parker and work in Aurora, so the Parker, Littleton, DTC, Aurora areas would work best for me. Should we select a date and place to start? Most nights work for me.

Hi all,

we definitely don't mind what anyone else eats. If we have a potluck style club, I would always make something veggie (mostly because I don't know how to cook anything else!). If we do it restaurant based, it's definitely no problem. I think the most important thing is finding other laid back people who enjoy good food.

I am so confused!! What is the best way to organize this? I am interested in Central denver---I'm married, but I am open to couples or singles, or even singles and then have spouses join in once and a while.

I eat meat, but am not biased against veggies. I too am looking for laid back people and just the fun of cooking--I'm learning myself.

I was wondering if those people who have interests similar to these, maybe could email me directly abbymann@aol.com to get going on setting something up. Is that appropriate, or is there a better way to organize?
