Stargazing Article - July 2000

My CL supper club is meeting the weekend and I am supposed to make the fig/goat cheese tapenade mini-pizza recipe from the Stargazing article in the July 2000 issue. I was told by a fellow member who tested the recipe that it's not very good. I was wondering if anyone else had tried them and what they thought. If not, I am looking for a great finger food/appetizer recipe and would appreciate your input.
