I would be interested in starting/joining a club in the St. Paul area.

Well, it's a start. Go ahead and email me, Marnie, at email@example.com.

We certainly have room, Claudia. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We were talking about a once-a-month event.

I think we have our five people: Jessica, Karen, Claudia, Jeanine and Christine. Does that sound like a good size to you folks? And do all five of you want to participate? Please post with a response. Also, I know we have a mix of singles and marrieds. Should we make it ladies only or mix in the men? Please advise; let's finish the organizing and get to the food!!!

Is there room for one more? I just got my issue yesterday with the article about the supper clubs and would love to participate!

We have seven now, counting the emails and postings i have received. Does anyone think that is too big? I think we should finalize by next week and plan the first feast!! Can you all help me by posting (not emailing) the confirmation that you want to be in the club? Thanks.

Hi jessica, I would like to make a commitment to join the St. Paul supper club.

Please help. The board is much easier to handle than all the emails and I am afraid we may now have too many people for the club. Can we set a deadline of July 7 (next Friday) to post, not email, a commitment to the club? If we have too many takers we can divide into two clubs. One person suggested an organizational meeting and I would like to do that the week after the Fourth. Thanks so much-- I love the emails but it is too hard to communicate one-by-one.

An organizational meeting sounds like a great idea. I work M-F 8-5 and I am not available on Monday or Wednesday evenings in July. Any other time would work for me. Maybe we could meet at a coffee shop or something.

How about Thursday evening the 13th at 8 p.m.? There is a great coffee shop near Cleveland and Ford Parkway called The Bean Counter--next to the Highland Grill. Is that too inconvenient--I got a few messages from people that sounded as if they lived in Mac-Groveland/Highland/Merriam Park.

Jessica- That sounds like a great plan to me! I'll plan on being there! -Kim

Great, I'm in too. I'll see you at the Bean Counter on the 13th at 8pm. Bring your July issue of Cooking Light!

Quite a few people have emailed me about the club. Note the organizational meeting this Thursday, the 13th, 8 pm at the Bean Counter coffeeshop. It is on Cleveland Ave, just north of Ford Parkway and next to the Highland Grill. Bring your July magazine.
