MY wife and I looking for other people and/or couples to form supper club in the Chi area. We're in a western suburb (Bloomingdale area) of Chicago. Please respond to myself via e mail direct or post a response to this message and we'll see if we can get one started.

hi, saw your message re:starting up supper club in w.burbs. i am in westchester, not too far from bloomingdale. have you had any other interested people in burbs? send me an email and maybe we can plan further. i am not a super-gourmet or anything like that. concept sounds fun, though.

I am also interested. I am in the process of moving from Schaumburg to Elgin -- so not too far. I love to Cook CL recipes and I try to keep my MasterCook up-to-date with all the new recipes that I try.

Hi, I'm also an avid Cooking Light reader and enjoy cooking with the CL recipes. Would love to be a part of a CL supper club. I'm in the far-far-west suburb of Rockford, but would be willing to come in for or host suppers. My husband may be able to join me on occasion. Let me know if you get anything going!

My husband and I are interested in joining a supper club. We live in Villa Park, and we both enjoy good food and wine. I subscribe to both Cooking Light and Gourmet, and would enjoy creating menus from both publications. Have any plans been finalized? I will look for further postings.

My husband and I are interested, too. We're in Wheaton. We seem to average trying at least one new CL recipe a week. Keep us posted!

A friend and I love to cook with and for friends. We just bought the cookbook from the restaurant Chevy's and would like to make an extravagant mexican meal but have no one to cook for but ourselves. Interested in joining us? Please e-mail me at jlberta@hotmail.com for more details. This could be the first supper of a western suburb supper club!

Hi - My husband and I are in River Forest, a bit nearer the city, but still technically the burbs. Please let me know if something is coming together (or if you could use some help organizing...) as I'd love to give the supper club a shot! Gennie

Great idea! I live in Naperville and love to try new "Cooking Light" recipes.
Hi, I live in Elgin and would love to come to a Cooking Light dinner party. Bloomingdale is right around the corner. Let us know if you get something started.

I'm in Geneva and would be interested in joining. I also have a friend and her husband who are interested--we'd be willing to take turns hosting and wouldn't mind traveling a bit to other houses. Hope to hear back!

Just started receiving my 1st issues of Cooking Light this spring! I love it!! The idea of a Supper Club sounds intriguing. I live in Elgin and would be interested in this concept. Please make me aware of any further details.

Looks like there is a lot of interest in the Chicago burbs! I am in Brookfield (a little closer to the city) and would also be very interested in being involved in a supper club. I look forward to hearing more.

For those of us who couldn't make it to yesterday's west suburban supper club, can someone e-mail/post a recap of the get-together? Who brought what? Were any decisions made about the club's format? When are we meeting again?
Dying to know,
Kathleen

Hi. I've just moved down to a SW suburb of Chicago from Madison, WI, where I helped to start up a CL group and am anxious to get involved in a group here. I'm not opposed to travelling a bit to meet. Please e-mail w/ more info about existing groups interested in absorbing new members, or individual interests for others in the SW. Thanks!
