Help me find some tennis shorts!

I looked all last summer in stores and on line but never found any shorts that I can use for tennis. There are lots of skirts out there, but no shorts. I find shorts more comfortable and more practical. The problem is I need a pocket that will hold at least one ball. Many "sport shorts" have no pockets at all or teeny ones for a key. What I really want is white, but that seems unattainable. And preferably not too short.

Any ideas for me? TIA

Lands End Performance Sport Shorts. The MP3 Player POcket works beautifully for a tennis ball (on the pants I have at least)

Those Lands' End shorts look awfully short. I need at least a 5-6 " inseam. Any more ideas?

Thanks for all the suggestions. It is maddening when "fashion" takes over practicality in sports clothes. Those skirts look good on the stars, but not on most of us!

I meant to come back to this thread to say
1) I feel your pain, I like "longer" shorts (at least 5") but all the women's tennis shorts seem to have like a 3" inseam. No thanks.
2) I checked those lands end shorts posted up thread and they have a 4.5" inseam.
So, not much help but I can empathize and I'm on the look out too so I'll let you know if I find anything.
