I made a Menu plan for next week!
I've been wanting to do this for awhile, and a few weeks ago you all gave me some tips, so we will see how i do :)
It's really really pathetic that making a menu plan for an upcoming week is the highlight of my friday night. :o

Good for you. I am lost without a menu plan, I spend more money at the grocery store and it is so much hard to get dinner on the table I also seem to short something when I decided to make a recipe at the last minute.
It is the small things in life that make you happy, right ;)

most deffinatly...I'm exagerating though, i AM going out later, my best friend sings at bars, and shes singing tonight so I will be going out. Although I'm trying to follow the Best Life Diet, so am not drinking alcohol for the next 8 weeks  So it's diet coke all the way. A menu plan, diet coke and going stag to a bar to see my friend sing :D
My excitement for the upcoming "whats cooking week of 3/11" thread is even greater than the excitement for actually making a menu...LOL:rolleyes:

Sometimes I plan ahead and sometimes I plan more vaguely.
Why don't you do the honors of starting the thread this week?

Good for you, RebelsLGB!!:) There are so many advantages to menu planning; it saves time, money and food waste. I hope your week plan works out well for you!

I planned, too!:) I even checked my pantry for the ingredients that were needed instead of buying doubles. Now we'll see if I stick to it. We will be bwaking, sprouting feathers and doing the chicken dance by Thursday!

I saw you comment on the whats cooking thread about sprouting feathers (I admit i was thinking "boy thats a lot of chicken" while i was reading your menu), and I almost spit my water out I laughed so hard.
Thanks for the support! I too, went through my pantry so that I don't buy doubles ;)

I haven't been around here in months and am ready to get back into the swing of things. Your post inspired me. Thanks.
