Disney tickets on ebay?

has anyone out there ever bought tickets to DisneyWorld from ebay? Are there problems with fraud regarding the tickets? We are seeing some cheaper prices on ebay than what it is to buy them from Disney.....but I don't want to fall victim to the "if it's too good to be true, it probably is".

As as CYA... don't do it. They could be counterfeit tickets. If that happened you'd be turned away at the gate, grilled as to where you got them, etc. Disney is very strict on who they will let sell consignment tickets. And they are equally as strict on the people who try to use them. (IF they turn out bogus)

We sell Disney tickets at work (credit union). Check to see if your personal financial institution sells them, AAA maybe? Do you or your DH belong to any unions, sometimes they sell them too.

Had a friend who bought some on ebay last May. Never got them and never could get his money back. I wouldn't recommend it, especially on anything sold from another country. If the seller happens to be dishonest, you'll never get your money back.

I was feeling the same way. Disney seems like it would be a ripe situation for scamming someone, unfortunately.

I just posted on Missindi's thread with my best info on ticket deals - sign up for the monthly newsletter at mousesavers.com, and there are almost always a couple of special deals with reputable ticket brokers. You won't save a ton, but it might be enough to buy your family a round of Mickey bars:p

I wouldn't do it. If there is even a chance for a problem with the tickets, it's not worth it. How can you have a great time if you are worried about whether the tickets will work?

I'm with the others. It sounds suspicious. I wouldn't do it either.
