The Colony, TX has finally arrived in the 21st century, everyone. They've built us a Starbucks! How did we get along all this time without one??? :D

Congratulations! Now you too can spend $$ for a cup of coffee. I have had to learn to live without my drive-through tea fix (I don't drink coffee) after carpool since we moved in October, but they are building us one. I'm spoiled though, I am bummed because looking at it it doesn't look like there will be a drive-through -- I will have to get out of the car :p I am watching the progress, along with the progress of the Target that is also coming to town!

Woohoo! Congratulations on your move into the next century. :D

In So Cal, there's a Starbucks on every corner. There's one local street that literally has them across from each other. I guess Californias are more than willing to fork over five bucks for a venti non-fat mocha with easy whip.

Oh, and Clairea, I was so bummed that the latest Starbuck's to go in (closest to home) is not a drive-thru. With small kids, the drive-thrus are so nice.

Enjoy your fresh brew, little_bopeep.

Truthfully, I don't go there (or anywhere) for coffee. But I do love their hot chocolate with half a shot of espresso and 2 shots of Valencia syrup. Ohhhhhmmannnnnn.....<insert Homer Simpson noise here>. When it was on the menu, it was called a Mocha Valencia Latte, available only in the winter; but I don't think they make it anymore. Ordering it the way I do is a little cheaper, too, I think.

But if this place doesn't have a drive-thru, I won't bother. I'm not hooked enough to want to actually exit my vehicle and go inside to buy one. :D

Is the Valencia an orange flavoring? That sounds really good!

We have a new place around here ... Java Dave's. Our Starbuck's is on the UCF campus and is SO overcrowded and has a bad parking situation so, I've been doing JD's. It's pretty good too, but not quite Starbuck's.

Ooh, that does sound good. The orange (if that's what it is) flavoring really appeals to me with the chocolate. Homer is right.

Yes, Valencia is orange. Without the espresso, it tastes almost like one of those chocolate oranges that are so good. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......
