Monday I quit my job, I couldn't handle the verbal abuse any longer and at the time I was crying to work, at work and on the way home.
I've never been so happy as I am right now compared to the past ten months!
Anyway, I just got offered another job this morning and I'm soooo relieved and happy! The stress is gone!
So, I'm going to enjoy the next few days until I start work with my doggies, enjoy my DH and enjoy this beautiful weather! I really just feel like a weight has been lifted off of me, soooo happy! :D
Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know of my happiness and if you all want, to make this thread one of which we are happy for....

I've been in that situation before, I know exactly how you feel.
Congrats, and congrats on the new job.
Good for you! That's fantastic that you had the guts to just walk away without anything else lined up. And then to have a new job come your way? Great news!
Congrats on your big change.

How wonderful! And how fast!
Best of luck with your new job.
Enjoy your new, less-stress life (is it ever really stress-free? ;) ).

Yep, me too. The last day I walked out of that awful place was one of the happiest days of my life!
Congratulations! :)

linsley good for you!!
I quit a job that I was totally miserable at. I gave my notice the first week of March and all I could think about was "I still have to be there two more weeks." My last day was last Friday and I did not have another job lined up. But at that point I didn't care. It was just horrible.
Monday I got a call and was offered a job that I had interviewed for about two weeks before. It actually pays less and is less hours but at least it will be doing something I like.
My direct (former) co-workers are all jealous and are all looking for something else too. So I know it was not just me.

Don't you just love it when you take the leap and the net appears?
Congratulations on leaving a toxic situation and getting that new job!

Good for you, and congratulations on the new job! :D
That is really outta control if your job has you in tears all the time! I had one where the tension sat in my jaw and shoulder constantly, and I surprised myself by just quitting. I walked out on my last day and really understood the notion of the huge weight being lifted.
I hope the new gig is happy and satisfying for you.

Congrats from another person who has been there before. A bad job situation is just toxic to your whole life. Best wishes in your new job!

Great news!!!! What is the new job? Isn't it true that when one door closes another opens. :p

Congratulations. It sounds like you did the right thing, and I'm glad you're feeling so great about it.
If you have time to read during your few days off, I just started Elizabeth Gilbert's "Eat, Pray, Love" and it's very inspirational so far; lots of "follow your heart" kind of anecdotes. You might like it at this point in your life.
All the best to you.
