Supper Club in Chicago

My husband and I have been looking for a supper club to join in the Chicago area. We are located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood and would be happy to host some gatherings. Please let me know if a group developes.

In am in the burbs but would be interested in joining a supper club - I all the way out in Palatine (north of Woodfield to you cityfolk) but have no problem coming to Chicago - I am only recently a suburbanite - though the hubby would complain.

I'm interested in a Chicago supper club, too. Seems like others have done some thinking and maybe action around this. If it's not too late, I'd be interested in learning more about the possibilities.

Since posting the initial message about a month ago, I've gotten about several responses from people who might be interested in getting a club going. At this point, I think it makes sense to take the next step and get information from everyone about their schedules, geographical stuff, etc. If you are still interested in a Chicago-based Supper Club (or if you are reading about this for the first time and would like to be included), please e-mail me at bethmuroff@hotmail.com with the following information:

1) Where you live and work (general neighborhoods)
2) Whether or not you want to/would be willing to include suburban areas in the club's geographical range (or what your preference is)
3) Preferred schedule for club meetings:
· Which days of the week are good for you
· How often you would want to participate in club meetings (monthly, every other month, etc.)
· Any specific constraints in your schedule or periods you would not be available to participate
4) Whether you would be participating on your own or want to include a spouse/significant other. If your spouse/significant other would be participating, please indicate whether or not they cook as well
5) The maximum number of people you could host in your home when it's your turn… or if you cannot be a host, please indicate that
6) Dietary restrictions or preferences
7) E-mail address for me to contact you, or a phone number if you'd prefer me to call you instead
8) Any other info about yourself that you think would be helpful!
