strawberry cake

am looking for a old recipe for fresh strawberry cake, with strawberries in the frosting, was my grandmothers recipe and if any one has it I would greatly appreciate it if you would share it with me.

Here is your recipe:

1 pkg Yellow Cake Mix (WITHOUT PUDDING)

1 pkg strawberry gelatin

1/2 c oil

1/4 c water or berry juice

3 eggs

1 cup crushed strawberries


FROSTING:

1/2 c butter
1 lb powered sugar
1/2 c fresh crushed strawberries

Cake: Combine all cake ingredients except strawberries in a large bowl. Mix with electric mixer. Stir in fresh strawberries. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9" cake pans. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees Cool before frosting

Frosting:

Combine butter and sugar. Stir in strawberries. Mix well spread on cooled cake. YUMMY
