Hi Hsquared. I am interested in a supper club.Once a month or once a quarter?

A little about myself:
I am a banker that lives in Mandarin, work on the Southbank, have a husband, no kids but a great dog named Gabby.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi alisome and Hsquared. I'm also interested in a supper club.

I am single, no kids, one lovable kitty, and live in Orange Park.

I enjoy most types of food including Italian, Mexican, Thai and other Asian cuisine... I like both meat-containing and vegetarian meals... and I somehow manage to sneak in a bit of chocolate into my daily diet.

Anyone else?
Kim

I am so excited to see that others in Jax have already expressed interest. I proabbly woudln't get an opportunity to try all of the mrecipes unless others helped! I live near Baymeadows and would love to join in!

Great!! I am so excited to hear from you all! I guess we should go ahead and vote amongst ourselves about how often and other logistics. How about every other month, each person pick a course so one person doesn't have to cook everything and we can rotate host homes each get together?

I'm really glad that you're interested in starting this club. I've posted some suggestions. I don't really know how to do this bulletin board thing. I wish I could've replie to everyone at once. Anyway, the post should be up there. Just let me know what you think.

There's someone else who posted for a supper club. Amy's her name. I directed her to this posting. I recommend that we meet somewhere first, for coffee, dinner or something. There we can talk about how we'd like to organize it: how often, whose house first... I remember seeing an article in a past Cooking Light (I think) that outlined specifics of how they ran theirs. It sounded pretty good. We could look at it and modify as suits us. How about Biscotti's? Any other thoughts?

I think meeting somewhere first would be great. Then we'll know who to look for when someone shows up at our houses!! :-) Seriously, though, I am a new subscriber to the magazine...does anyone have the article that kajordan references? I would be willing to meet at Biscotti's....either after work or on a weekend a.m.

I'm so glad that there are people in Jacksonville interested as well. I think this will be a blast. I'm single as well and live in St. Nicholas. Biscotti's sounds great to me, I'll be looking for the date!

Perfect. I'll bring the article and see how it looks for us. So... how will we recognize each other? Bring an issue? Wait outside looking curious? This is the first bulletin board I've ever tried. I think that we can access each others' email addresses through the envelope icon. We should probably move off the bulletin board to email.

Looks like not everybody's email address is available so we should stick with the bulletin board for now.

OK! I ntoiced that there was another lady at the top of all of this discussion who said she was a banker and I don't see that she has particiapted in a while. Do you think we shoudl email her and let her know that we're getting together? My email is not listed on this bulletin board, but I will be happy to share it wiht you in person when we meet. 11:30 on 7/15!

I think we should all bring an issue of the magazine just so we can recognize each other but I'm sure we'll figure it out! I e-mailed the banker from the first few postings so hopefully she will be able to make it.

Look forward to meeting you!!!

Helen
