I'm in the middle of helping my future d-i-l on the wedding invitations. I'm searching around the internet for one small tidbit of information. I'm hoping there may be an etiquette whiz online tonight! :D

We have the response card and the stamped/addressed envelope. The response card has a crease, so it folds. I'm guessing the top folds backward so the response card information is face up (without having to open the flap to see the text)...but does it go INSIDE the small envelope? For some reason, I feel like it does not go inside the envelope, but is under the flap facing out. Any etiquette gurus?

I'll keep looking for wedding etiquette sites. The information that came with the invitations covers everything else, but it doesn't say anything about the response cards other than where they go in the whole invitation.

HELP!!! Thanks!!!

Not an etiquette guru by any means, but that is what I did with my response cards. Under the flap of the envelope, so put together as a unit, but not inside the envelope itself.

Here are the invitation assembly instructions (http://www.weddingchannel.com/ui/buildArticle.action?assetUID=88443&c=5659&s=610380560&t=93&p=1003&l=132928)provided by weddingchannel.com - it looks like you have the right idea.

I agree. This is how I did mine as well.
