Where can I purchase a Thomas Potato Roaster.
It's a delicate clay pot shaped like a squashed sphere with a handle. It cooks on top of the burner. Thanks

I have never heard of this and I am a true lover of all kitchen gadgets, knives, pots and pans.
Where did you hear of it? Have you actually seen one? Does someone you know have one?
I even went so far as to do a simple search on the internet and came up with absolutely nothing.
Sorry I can't be of any help to you!

Deanna,
The potato roaster was featured in the House & Garden February 00 issue page 62. I e-mailed H&G and the article created lots of interest,
however, they were unable to find this item. Probably a european cooking utensil and need to search import stores. Will keep trying to find this roaster, I'm on a quest now. Keep me posted should you find the elusive roaster pot. Thanks Lee Ann

Try Sur La Table (www.surlatable.com). They have several terra cotta baking dishes that you can use on top of the stove, in the oven or in a microwave. I didn't see the specific brand that you were looking for but they have several choices of baking dishes that might do the same job.
