supper club in atlanta -intown area

It sounds like there is an interest in a supper club in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. Anyone interested in one in the areas intown like Buckhead, Brookhaven, Midtown, etc.

To all who have responded to a supper club in the intown areas of Atlanta:
So far we have 8 of us who seem interested in starting a club. How exciting! I feel a strange bit of responsibility to guide this a little, only because I was the first to post. How about if we wait another week or two to see what other responses we get. Then, maybe we can take a stab at picking a date in the future to have our first one. Then, would anyone like to volunteer their home for the 1st meeting? My kitchen is about to be gutted so I have a great excuse. I figure we can sort out other details at our first gathering. I'm not sure if we should communicate through this bulletin board - I thought it might be better by e-mail but not everyone put their e-mail address. These are just my quick thoughts - now please tell me what you think! By the way, my name is Jackie Brantley - I should have put that as my username but I didn't know what I was doing! Look forward to our first gathering!

I'd love to join too! I live in the Smyrna area unfortunately in a one bedroom, but if I have enough planning time I can always steal a family memeber's house for the night, which would be in Gwinnett County. I'm only begining to really get into cooking, so I want to learn lots!

Jackie, I initially replied to the supper club in north Atlanta but not sure that one is going to get off the ground. Seems like more people are interested in in-town. I'll throw my name in. Seems like we should meet at a restaurant first and get to know each other before we go to someone's home. We can use my home for some dinners.
