Farmer's Markets are starting!

I am so excited! Now that ski season is over I can start going to Saturday morning farmer's markets. The one here in Boulder opened a couple of weeks ago and one in Fort Collins opens this weekend. Mmmmm, yummy, fresh, local produce, plants, and goodies. I can't wait!

My favorite day of the week is our Sunday outing to the farmers market. Thank you for reminding me of how spoiled I am by year round farmer's markets out here. We're already getting fabulous strawberries. In fact I shared some with my class today and got the comments "Why are they so small?" "Whoa, they smell good." "Wow, they're sweet!"

I doubt I'll be having these experiences this time next year in Moscow!

You're so lucky that the farmers markets are already open! Ours doesn't open until the first Saturday in May. But, my favorite farmer sent out an e-mail earlier this week that he will be in town with tulips and spinach and micro mix - yeah!! :D
