Crafters: Looking to buy 11 pairs of baby booties

Long story, but I'm looking to buy 11 pairs of crochet or knit baby booties in pink or white (baby shower favors). Anybody's grandma have a stash for their church fundraiser that they want to sell? :o

I was cleaning out Colin's closet the other day and found a pair someone had given us for Christmas before he was born, and I put them away with some other things and totally forgot about them.

They were purchased at a craft show, so there's really no sentimental value.

Thanks Debie and Lara. I looked on esty.com and ebay and didn't find enough pairs. Lara, hold off on your offer until I figure out if I need to cobble together pairs from assorted places. Ideally I'd like them to all look the same. :rolleyes:

Lisa do you need them soon? I work with a single mom who crochets baby outfits with booties to earn extra income. She does them quite quickly, especially the booties. Let me know if you would like me to ask her how much she would charge for them.

You might also check with a local yarn shop, they may know of people who do this kind of work and are usually very helpful. (Says the girl working on her very first knitting project. :o ;) )

I have a couple of pairs...definitely not 10 of them, but I can take a pic and post and if you like them, let me know.

ooops...just saw that you wanted pink and white...i know they are mostly multicolors. I may have one pair of pink.

The ones I found in the closet are white, so just let me know if you are interested.

When is the shower? Booties are pretty easy to knit and don't take too long, so making them yourself might be an idea.

You might also check with your hospital. The hospital where my kids were born had a big basket of booties in the nursery that each baby got that were dontated by volunteers. They may be able to hook you up with people who do a lot of knitting of booties.
