I am looking for feedback from Supper Clubs that have been formed and have decided on how they want to organize their clubs. I am part of a group of 10 who have formed a club. We met at a local restaurant to meet and decide what next. We are again meeting at one member’s home for a potluck appetizer and dessert to get together and discuss more details. We have decided on a womans only group and will shoot for meeting @ once a month. We are talking about the host member choosing a theme and the others selecting their own recipes and notifying the host of their selection. We will assign certain categories and rotate these at each gathering with the host doing the main dish. We will cook together as much as possible depending on the recipes. We haven’t decided if we will cook from a current cooking light issue or use other light recipes.
What are your groups doing? And ideas/feedback would be great!

Hi there!
Our group just left my house - this was our third meeting, our second "in-house" and had a blast. We also decided on a "women only" group. And so far it has really proven to be informative. Our group is comprised of approximately 6 people, which, due to its small size is conducive to talking and really fellowshipping around the dinner table. Thus far, we agree on a theme for the next meeting, and the hostess emails everyone with the theme and directions, with each of us picking our own menu item. Since we see what everyone else is bringing, we are able to tailor our menu items to complement one another.
We too are meeting once a month - (our days are Sundays).
Our themes so far have been Asian and Cajun/Creole, with the next one in October planned to be Soutwestern/Latin.
Have fun!

Hello,
Our Supper club is a "womens only" group also and we currently have 5 members. We started our group in June with 9 members and have lost several people. We did the things you mentioned, such as meeting in a restaurant and we had two pot luck dinners, prior to cooking together.
Each month, on a Saturday (late afternoon), we meet at someone's home and cook a menu that has been decided on by the host. This way everyone gets a turn to plan an entire dinner. The host is also responsible for food shopping and the cost of the dinner is split. It is alot of work for the host but since you only have to do it about twice a year it's not bad. We have done a Greek theme and are doing a Vegetarian theme this weekend. We are really just getting started and it has been alot of fun.
