I went to the gym and started the cycle class, but my knee, which I somehow injured last week, would not hold out. It got more and more painful as class went on. :( I think the new trainer had me do some things that were not good for it last Wed., then I ran twice, the most recent being the very hilly race on Sunday, and I really shouldn't have. :mad:

So after 1/2 hour, I went out into the gym and lifed some weights and did some crunches. I just went for a short (1.5 mile) walk, because I can't stand being indoors on such a nice day.

Who's next?

Martha - Sorry to hear about your knee.:(

It's raining here so today I stayed indoors and did 35 minutes on the Nordic Track.

Good job on your workouts Martha and Peggy!

Good that you stopped cycling if your knee pain was getting worse, Martha. You probably just need to shift gears (no pun intended!) and give your knee a chance to rest and heal completely from whatever happened to it. Sounds like you still got in a decent workout in spite of your injury, though.

I did yoga this AM, then just finished 45 min on the TM while catching up with Jack Bauer. ;)
