"DELISH!"
Very good. Now tell me how very much you love the new Rachael Ray Dunkin Donuts commercial! :D

Bleeeeech!!
I don't know whether she had anything to do with it, but both of our Dunkin' Donuts stores went belly-up last week. :D

We don't have Dunkin' Donuts so I haven't seen the commercial but I can only imagine what it must be like.

Ack!
I won't buy the colavita olive oil with her on it...
not that I have ever been to that donut shop, but if I would....not now!!

For me, DD is a coffee shop. I've been going there for years.
As for RR, she might as well do everything she can. She'd be a fool not to.

I absolutely LOVE dunks and nothing would ever stop me from going there. That said, the commercial makes me want to throw up. Seriously.

hmm, a while ago I saw a special about her on tv (or was it in a magazine) and I always saw her drinking Starbucks Coffee...

Ya know it's bad enough to see her on all those Nabisco products (which I don't buy anymore but sort of glance at longingly while passing them in the grocery aisle :o ) and while I haven't had a Dunkin' Donut in over 20 years I don't think I'd buy one now! Fortunately I haven't seen the commercial!

Well, Susan, at least they took down the dozen aisle cards that stuck out and assaulted the senses. They've been replaced (across the aisle) by a (funny) broken splattered bottle of Cheez Whiz on the floor!
What I want one of the Dunkin fans to tell me is if they've put the skid marks on the floor in the shops!

I'm a Dunkin fan, but I wouldn't know about the floor of the shop. Around here, the big appeal of DD is the drive-through. :o I'm not sure anyone actually ever goes inside.

Blech was my reaction too. But I never go to DD, so whatever.......
Donuts are one of the few food evils that I've actually lost my taste for, thank goodness! :) I do still like an occasional powdered (or plain or cinnamon) cake donut, but that's about it.
I liked RR at first (but never a rabid fan) and wanted to defend her against those who railed against her, but now even I'm sick of her. There IS such a thing as TOO MUCH.
However, I agree that she might as well cash it in while she can and retire very young and be set for life. Not a bad deal.
I have to admit though that I'm more and more attracted to her style of cooking. She has that casual but creative, updated style that attracts me to a menu when I go out to eat. Not just the same old same old - interesting combinations without being stuffy or pretentious. Not that I don't love stuffy and pretentious too, I just don't want to cook it at home. ;) :)

It's kind of ironic about RR shilling for DD when on her show $40 a Day Travels or whatever it was called, she made a big deal of trying local places and not opting for megachains like DD...

My second job (at age 15) was at a donut shop (Mr Donut in Palatine, Ill...pay $1.25/hr) so I lost the taste for them after about 6 weeks on the job!
I don't mind her style of cooking but her voice just annoys the cr@p out of me! Plus her little acronyms are truly idiotic!

I'm not a donut fan, with the exception of a krispy creme every year. Rachel, like Emeril has been overexposed.

Haven't seen the DD commercial, but even RR couldn't keep me away from an occasional Krispy Kreme (quarterly or less . . . wish KK were good for you)! Never had a Dunkin.
BTW, is Rachael expecting? Watched her show while working out yesterday, & she looks as if she might be.
It's funny how many people are sick of RR. She has never bothered me. I don't watch her show, but it doesn't bother me to see ads for it. I also don't mind her on the back of the cracker box. I'm not a huge fan and I'm not bothered. I'm indifferent.

I doubt it. Any time the kid question comes up in interviews, she says that she couldn't be a proper parent given her work schedule, and that she feels guilty enough about her dog, Isaboo.
For those that are tired of her, you might want to avoid the new issue of People magazine - she's on the cover of Friday's upcoming issue.
I caught the tv commercial last night, and keep hearing the radio one during the day. I think they're cute, right in keeping with her personality. That being said, not a coffee drinker, so doesn't bother me. ;)

This thread made me realize that I don't think we have DD anymore in Indianapolis. If we do, there must not be very many of them. Don't eat 'em, so I guess I've never really paid much attention...even though I know there used to be DD's around.
As far as RR is concerned, I still like her. Yes, she's everywhere, but I really do enjoy many of her recipes and ideas. I could care less if she's on a box of crackers or not. It's not going to make me buy them, or not buy them :D

I never understand why anyone wants to wait in the inevitable 20 car line (and for weak coffee too) especially if they're stopping on the way to work. Maybe they aren't cutting it as close as I always am! :)

Where are you all hearing/seeing this commercial? I live smack in the middle of DD territory (next town over has the highest DD to population ratio than any other place in New England  ) and I have yet to see/hear it -- well, at least that I'm aware of (I am not a good target for commercial consumerism as I tend to tune them out; quite successfully, I guess :p )

Leslie, I know I've seen it the most on NESN during Red Sox games. I think it's been on channel 7 too.
