I've been searching (in vain, it appears) for a video/recording of a telecast from The New York Met from sometime in the early '80s. While on the Met site, I looked at their archives (which are quite extensive and very well organized) and was able to see a list of artists who have made more than 100 appearances on their stage. It was so cool to be able to go down the list and see Enrico Caruso, Leontyne Price, Nellie Melba and so many more, the date of their first and last performances and how many times they appeared.

They also have a list of all the operas they've staged and those dates. I'm sorry, I just think stuff like this is cool. :p If anyone else would care to see, go here (http://66.187.153.86/archives/frame.htm).

Fun! We had seaon tickets to San Francisco Opera (http://http://www.sfopera.com/) for 25 years and still attend 3 or 4 each year. We were delighted when their website added a historical database. Our memories keep heading south, so it is neat to be able to look stuff up that we think we remember, sort of.

Thanks for sharing.

Kay

Hey, Kay, we're season ticket holders too - maybe you and I have met and never knew it. ;)
