Anyone else going? I went with DH and my best friend on Cinco de Mayo and had a blast! Unfortunately, we arrived too late to see Pat Green, much to DH's disappointment. But the disappointment was more than made up for by Kenny's special guest, who appeared during his set for 4 songs. I don't want to ruin a surprise, but you can highlight below if you want to know who joined Kenny on stage. We *almost* left early (I was pretty much just there so see Sugarland) just to beat traffic leaving the venue, but I'm so glad we didn't or we would have missed the best part of the show!

During "When the Sun Goes Down," Kenny was joined on stage by Uncle Kracker! He stuck around for "Follow Me," "Drift Away," and Kid Rock's "Cowboy," which was awesome.

Sneaky with the writing in white. I like it! Show sounds great. I have no plans to see him, but did see my other boyfriend, Lyle Lovett, a few months ago and that show, with Joe Ely, John Hiatt and Guy Clark, was incredible. Made it hard for me to come home to my live in DBF ;)

I've never been a huge fan of Lyle, but I know Lisa(numbers) will fight you for your "other boyfriend." FTR, though, I *love* John Hiatt. Che & I have seen him a few times (and met him after his show in Eugene) and he puts on a great live show.

I LOVE Kenny Chesney's singing. He used to be my celebrity BF, but I got over that a few years ago. Anyway, I went to an outdoor concert of his a few years ago and was dissappointed. I just wanted to hear HIM sing - I can only think of 1 or 2 songs of his that I don't like. Well, it seemed like 1/3 of his concert was of his surprise guest and the singer of the last song you mentioned.

So, I won't be going to the Flip Flop tour. I would like to see Sugarland, though. I also like Pat Green a little.

Sorry to hear that, Jennifer. Kenny performed for at least 2 solid hours (we left before his set finished, plus I'm sure there were encores), and his guest only joined in for 4 songs, so it was pretty much Kenny the whole time. We were very disappointed to miss Pat Green, but DH has seen him before and we have a lot of opportunities to catch him at Texas events that we try to get to each year (like Bocktoberfest and the ACL festival).

I SERIOUSLY love John Hiatt too. IMO, he is one of the best live performers I've ever seen. Every concert of his that I've been to he's had so much energy and gone on for hours....love him! :D
