Calling Healthy Houstonians

I know lots of Houstonians are committed to healthy living and EATING. Lets find each other and have a supper club!!! I was hoping to find couples as my hisband also enjoys cooking and healthy living. We live downtown and are central location makes ot easy for us to meet with people from all over the city!

First of all, no Kim, I am not a Houstonian--nor do I even live in the state of Texas.

Since you seem to be getting frustrated, I thought I might make a couple of suggestions.

If you reset the browser to either "Display All Topics" or "Display Year" and scroll down, you'll find several other frustrated Houstonians looking to set up a supper club. Obviously, I have no idea if any were ever successful, but it's sure worth checking into. You can always click on their profile icon and drop them e-mails to see if they're still interested.

Secondly, it really isn't necessary to keep posting messages-- if you're concerned that your message isn't being noticed, just post a response to yourself (have you seen people write "just bumping this up to the top of the board again" as in the case of the ISO CathyA thread?) That's what they're doing.

I see you got one response on one of your messages-- if nothing else, maybe the two of you can get together.

But Gail, what do you do if you send a private e-mail to someone that you know lives in your city and they don't answer? Give them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't get it and try again with a public posting or what?
