Surely there are some folks in the Nashville, TN area who would like to be a part of a Cooking Light Supper Club! Please contact me and lets get started. I love to cook -- and love to eat even more. Let's get a group together and have s great time discovering the joys of cooking. Just contact me here at this site and we'll get going soon. Looking forward.

SueJoan--

You can count me in! We had a supper club back in early fall that was really fun but I'm not sure what happened to it. I guess just the holidays coming up.

Anyway keep me posted.

Hi Laden,
I tried emailing you and was told by aol that it did not make it to you. It was lengthy and informative -- but little time now. Wanting to touch bases with you. Please email me at SueJoan@aol.com so I can redue my original note to you. Thanks for your response. Hopefully we'll get a few more.
Thanks,
Sue

SueJoan--try to e-mail me again. My e-mail address was an old one, but has been updated since you tried before.

Will y'all let me know what you end up doing? I live in Nashville too, am already in a "couples" supper club, but would love to know how this one takes shape--maybe I could take it on too! Also, have y'all ever taken any of the cooking classes at Classic Gourmet or Viking Culinary Arts Center? Just wanted to see what you thought. . . .

We'd love to have your join us!

Also on the cooking classes, I've wanted to take cooking classes at Viking but it hasn't ever worked out. Haven't checked into Classic Gourmet either.

Laden--
Please let me know what y'all have been up to--i.e., how often you meet, where, and how many people. I would love to participate but don't know how many supper clubs I can have on my plate! (No pun intended!)

Hi hhcowgirl
I don't get online too often -- sorry for delay. I would love to go to a Viking or other cooking class. Let's all get in touch and give that a try. "Laden" and I are waiting for more responses so we can get things going. How's your other supper club going. Would they consider us -- in case we don't get any other interest? I'm new to all this and am open for direction. Stay in touch.
Sue

Hi, Sue! My other supper club is great, but I'm not sure about bringing others--it is all Vandy alums who are 25 and under and we are just pretty full as it is. Anyway, thanks for your response--let me know if y'all get something going!

stopped in the Classic Gourmet the other day, they have several classes but no light cooking...said they never sell.

Anyway I'm still hopeful we can get a supper club together!

I've been wanting to learn Chinese cooking. Not too much concern there with fat or calories. Would you like to join me? I believe Viking has some planned. I'm hoping some more folks will hurry and express interest in our supper club too. Getting anxious to get started. Should we post another bulletin? Your thoughts please...

I have been checking into the cooking series class at Viking. It's several weeks and begins in April I think. (don't have my mailer with me). Also got the brochure from Classic Gourmet, which I have considered as well.

Let me know if you'd be interested in either of these. I would love to have a "friend" in the class with me.

Hi again -- Yes I've very interested, however I won't be able to do the 12-week series at Viking because our vacation falls right in the middle. However, as fate would have it I've marked off a few classes I'm interested in -- and just today I was checking around trying to find someone to go to the free demonstration on Friday -- stir fry is the topic. It's at 1pm this Sat. Let me know if interested ASAP
