Several BBers have posted nice photos they've taken. How do you do this, if the photo is on your PC and not snapfish or something? Thanks! I tried to cut & paste the .jpg, but it won't paste.

From your PC you'd need to do it as an attachment - the little paper clip symbol on the tool bar when you post.

Using the attachment method Badunnin has mentioned also has a size limitation to the image.
When you click on the paperclip a small window pops up allowing you to upload a photo. Photo can be no larger than 100Kb. So that means you might have to resize it in order to use the attachment method.
Otherwise, your other option is to upload the picture to a picture sharing site such as snapfish, picturetrail, etc and then you can insert it into the message as an image using the the icon that looks like a picture of a mountain and sun.
HTH. :)

Thanks. My photo is in Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album. When I open it up and choose "resize," I get a window with the # of pixels for height & width, but I can't find where to just choose a lower Kb and let the program recalculate the # pixels. My photo is now 1695 K; do I really need to get it down to 100K, or did you mean 1000K? It's just a photo; may not be worth the trouble but I'd like to learn how to do this. Appreciate the help!

To use the attachment method of attaching a photo from your hard drive it must be no bigger than 100K.
If you upload your picture to a photo sharing site, it can be any size since you will be linking to the picture in the photo sharing site.

Resurrecting this thread to try posting a photo:

ETA It seems the computer is still smarter than I am. I can only see a red X. Can anyone help me? Here's what I did:
Click on mountain-and-sunshine icon. Copy and paste url from snapfish when photo I want to post is on the screen. (I also tried copying and pasting the url from "properties" after right-clicking on the photo.) Complete post on CL. Voila...the dreaded red X. Grrr.

Tamawrite, click on the teeny paper clip icon that appears in the center, above your text-writing window. When the paper-clip window finishes loading, it'll give you an option to browse through the files on your PC and upload the photo. (The photo has to already be separated from your photo-editing software; what I did was pick a photo & then save it to my desktop, & then upload from there.) Preview your message to be sure the photo's there; click the paper clip if needed, & select the photo. I'm no expert, but this is how I just uploaded my first photo on a different thread.
Thanks, all, for the help! :)

What a beauty!
I believe that snapfish is one of the worst for posting to other sites. I use Firefox and whenever anyone posts from snapfish I don't even get the red x just a blank space. I prefer imagestation.com
