This is my new favorite find: Overheard in NY (www.overheardinnewyork.com) (there's also ...at the beach, in the office, etc.). Basically it's a website full of overheard snippets of conversation. The NY one is my favorite (and it reminds me of that regular feature in the New Yorker). Here's one from yesterday:
Her Research Clearly Lacked a Control Group
Chick: Are you chewing gum?
Dude: Yeah...
Chick: Take that out of your mouth. I hear that you get cancer by chewing gum while smoking.
