So it looks like there is a lot of interest in this area. It also looks like we all have small kitchens! I am in my mid-twenties, my fiance is in his early thirties - and our apartment kitchen is small! Unfortunately I am tied up for the next few weekends - but really want to get this thing going! Personally - I need to wait until after Easter. Anyone have suggestions on a date/time?

Hi Ladies,

I am also interested in joining or forming a supper club. I live in Downtown Dallas and have a fairly large kitchen, only one neighbor, tons of free parking and am walking distance from Farmer's Market. Yes it's safe. I do not live in one of the new lofts but am easy to find on Elm close to the Majestic and have a wonderful view from my rooftop. Would be interested in meeting at anyone's residence though. Thank you for your consideration.

Okay. May 12. How about 1 pm at Texadelphia? It's a restaurant on Maple/McKinney. They have delicious Cheesesteaks, Chicken Cheesesteaks, Turkey and even a veggie sandwiches. (Can you tell it's my favorite place or what?) They're rarely busy on the weekend and have a huge, beautiful deck outside and extra long tables inside. If this sounds agreeable to most, I (or any of us) can email everyone the week before with details and directions.

Okay gang, hate to tell you this, but that Texadelphia served its last cheesesteak on April 30th---the location was sold to a large hotel chain.

The good news is that there is another location on Lovers Lane/Greenville (behind Fuddrucker's) on the East side of Greenville (north of Lovers).

Hope that one works as well--although there are no tables outside.

For those of you in the downtown/uptown area, we started a Cooking Light Supper club in January and are adding new members. Our next meeting is Sunday, June 10th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. We meet the 2nd Sunday of every month. Repsond by Wendesday, June 6, 2001 if you would like to join us!! The theme is grilling!!
