My neighbor fosters pugs. Personally, I don't care for them. But I have to say: i am in love! This little bundle of love ran right up to me and wanted to be held. She's a lap pooch. Small. she's being spade tomorrow. I would take her in a heartbeat. She's about a year and a half old. OMG was she cutteeeeeeeee! Too bad my dogs would eat her alive....sigh...

If you know of anyone who would like to adopt this little precious gem, PM me.

Do they know how she is with kids and cats?

One of my best friends has a pug and they chose that breed specifically bc their research showed it to be great with cats...they had two cats at the time (both have since died) and the pug and kitties peacefully co-existed for several years. Also, they have two boys - they were prob 9 and 11 when they got the dog - and that was a good match too. And that's all I know about pugs! (oh yeah - they shed!)

I love pugs but I rent and I wouldn't be able to take her/him.

They shed and snore.

Awww, we have a pug, and I absolutely adore her! She's the cutest and sweetest thing in the world, and puts up with so much torture from our 3year old DS. We specifically were looking for a breed that would be good with kids. She does shed and snore, but we have her shaved during the summer (it's really hot here anyway). But then a groomer told me the other day you're never supposed to shave pugs b/c they could get nicked and get an infection....

No, I don't know because she was a stray that was picked up. I can tell you that she coexists peacefully with dogs. my neighbor has 3 dogs in addition to her, one of which is a Pug....She's got a really nice personality. I can't imagine that she wouldn't get along...
