supper club in NYCity?

I'd love to start a Manhattan supper club. Anyone interested? I love to cook, travel, study and collect wine. I also love to run and read. I live on the Upper East Side.

Hello, I am also interested in getting invovled in a club. Depending on when you meet I could probably join you. I live in Westchester and it is pretty easy for me to get into the city. Currently, I am a culinary student and hope to get back into the city soon for work relating to food and communications. I am learning about wine now, so I'd love to have others to explore it with.

It sounds like we've got some great Manhattan interest for a supper club. Do y'all think it would be a good idea to meet for dinner one night to discuss next steps as far as menus, locations, etc? How about something during the week of July 24? I'm raring to go. We could even meet at a wine bar since so many of us seem to have that interest too. Emily- a wine bar sounds good to me. The week of the 24th is also fine. I am fexible since I am on vacation. Does anyone have a particular date that would/wouldn't work? Emily suggestions for the site? Moderately priced?

July 26 sounds good to me. Does anyone have suggestions for a place? These might be a few options -- with decent wine lists. I have not tried any of them, but found them on http://www.cuisinenet.com/ and in zagats.

My suggestion is the Morrell Wine Bar and Restaurant by Rockefeller Plaza..I haven't tried it and I'm not sure about how expensive it is, but they have wine flavoured ice-cream. Just an idea...
