Grey's Fans...Burke's GONE!

Seems as if ABC decided once and for all they don't want to deal with him any longer. His contract was not renewed.

Good riddance to someone that causes a rucus on the set- but I'm actually going to miss his character! The Burke/Christina dynamic was one of the few parts of the show that I actually enjoyed watching.

It's a shame he was not a nice guy in real life. I enjoyed his character on the show. I think there's definitely enough good talent to keep the show going for years though. I love my Grey's!!

It's on the news and internet. You'd have to be living on another planet this summer if you thouoght you could avoid hearing this until Sept.

I'm not surprised though I enjoyed his character.

I suspected this might happen with how the season ended, but I also did enjoy the dynamics between Burke and Christina.

It shouldn't come as a surprise because of the way he acted towards T.R. Knight...I was surprised he wasn't sent packing when they had the chance with the story about his hand. T.R. Knight is also coming back, he was the character I thought wouldn't be back and I was upset, but no worries.

Anyone else peeved that there are new interns being introduced? I hope they don't make them all major characters and slowly push away our favorites.

I need to know!He did leave her -- she had tried so hard to please him that he realized she had lost herself, and the woman he really loved was not the one that tried to please, but the independent Christina... there was a scene, and he just left the church, left the apartment, and now, left the show!

I don't think I spoiled any part of the show...

1. It's been all over the news
2. His character was practically written off in the last episode
3. It's a real life twist, not something that happened in the context of Grey's! The show wrapped for the season two weeks ago- it's not like something happened.

I had no idea Burke/Washington was leaving the show. It appears I'm in the minority, but I never liked his character on the show.

I like the spin-off show (with Addison); I don't like the new cast of interns, esp. the one named something "Grey" who hit on McDreamy. C'mon. :mad:
