Recommendation on a frozen yogurt/ice cream maker

Can anyone suggest a good frozen yogurt/ice cream maker. My husband has expressed an interest in making frozen yogurt and sorbet. I have no idea of what to even consider in making this purchase and would hate to buy one and have to buy another because I chose the wrong one. Also, I would love it if anyone had any lowfat and/or low sugar recipes to share.

We got a Krups ice cream maker for a wedding gift and it's wonderful! Very easy and the results are yummy! One drawback: (I don't know if this is the case with all brands) you have to freeze the inner bowl for at least 24 hours before making the icecream, so some planning ahead is required. I'm not good at that and I don't deal with too much frozen food so I just keep the bowl in the freezer between uses. Good Luck!
