Supper Club - Allentown/Lancaster/Reading PA

Hi! The Allentown/Lancaster/Reading Pennsylvania Supper Club -- a new group -- is having its next meeting on Sunday, February 25 at 2:00.

We have great food and fun and are looking for more members.

I was hoping to find a group in the Allentown area that I could join. I was excited to see that you are already up and running! Please let me know when you plan to meet again. I am relatively new to the area (from Pittsburgh) and love to cook and talk about cooking.

Hi! And welcome to the area! I myself moved here from the Pittsburgh area almost four years ago. I love this area a great deal more than where I was living -- it just seems like there are more interesting things happening here and the weather is less severe!

I believe that our next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 21 at 2:00 in Reading. (We have been rotating meeting places.)

If you are interested -- please say "yes" -- let me know and I will see that you get directions and a confirmed date/time.

Thanks for responding. I haven't had the chance to check the bulletin board until now (you know how it is when you get back to the office after the holidays!). I would like to attend the meeting in Reading. You can e-mail the directions to me. I really appreciate it.

Unfortunately, our busy lives have resulted in the need to reschedule the January 21 meeting. We are now looking at a Sunday in February. Once a day is picked, I will post it!

Sorry I can't make the meeting. Is it a meeting to plan the next dinner or is it actually the dinner? If it is just to plan, I would appreciate it if you could let me know what I could bring/cook for the next dinner and the other pertinent details. If it is actually the dinner - have a great time and let me know about the next one.

Our supper club met for the third time on Sunday Feb. 25....each member brought one or two appetizers and we enjoyed a Cooking Light dessert....Cherry Salad. We have decided to meet again on the 18th of March...at 2 PM. Our group although small has tried quite a few recipes from Cooking Light....we are always looking for new faces to join in our fun.
