I'm asking because my best friend & I recently submitted a video clip that will hopefully be chosen to be played on his tour. :o :o I've already been to his concert this tour and can't really take time off work to become a groupie and follow him around the rest of his tour to see if our clip was chosen. As much as I'd like to. :eek:
Yes, I am a *huge* KU fan. You might even call me obsessed. :eek:
Anyway, members of his fan club (yes, I actually paid to join :o) were invited to submit video clips to be chosen for play on the big screen on stage while he performs "Days Go By." If you've seen the video for that song, in one scene, he has his arm out of the car while he's driving, doing a little wave thing in the wind. We were asked to submit videos of ourselves doing the little wave thing with something in the background that was distinct to where we live.
BFF and I submitted a video clip of ourselves sitting on DH's Harley under a "City of Phoenix" sign, as well as one of us sitting in the bed of a pickup with the Phoenix downtown skyline (including Camelback Mountain and Chase Field) in the background. I'm thinking we have a better shot with the Harley clip - it looked pretty good, and KU is riding around on a motorcycle in the video, so c'mon, how could they not pick it?? :D
The only way to find out if your clip was chosen was to go to the concert and watch the big screen - they're not notifying anyone who was selected. :( I've posted enough pics of myself on this BB that most folks know what I look like, so if you'll be attending a KU concert soon, please let me know if you see me and my BFF! I'm wearing a black baby tee and jeans because, well, what else would you wear sitting on a Harley for a video?? :p
