Albany Supperclub

I love this idea. Anyone interested in a supperclub in Albany, New York?

Hi Reena-
There was an attempt to get a supper club going back in September, unfortunately none of the meeting dates would work for me. I would be interested in trying it again. I think it would be alot of fun.

I am interested in joining an Albany Supperclub but I am a vegetarian so I do not know if that would be a problem.

I don't think it would be a problem at all, I think non-veggies would end up trying alot of recipes that maybe they wouldn't have tried on their own (that's a good thing!). Do you know anyone else that may be interested?

I am really glad you posted another message, this supper club was really something that I wanted to do. I agree that we need atleast 4 people, more if we can find them! I am leaving for vacation this Friday but I will check the board before I leave and when I return on Feb. 13th. I look forward to getting together.

Crystal & KValenti, I'll be heading south on 2/10 and will return on 2/26. Perhaps we'll have more interest by the time I return. I passed the new posting on to Gail, but haven't heard back from her yet. I may be able to round up some co-workers who would be interested in joining our supperclub. Perhaps you could do the same. Let's plan on getting together sometime in March. See ya!

ok my stats:
live in troy- will meet anywhere in cap district. 24 yrs old [25 next week]. can only meet sat or sunday evening as i work 11am-8pm shift at PSINET M-F. I am also married and i have a great dog and live in an apartment.
so who else do we have here?

Let's plan a first get together at a local restaurant so we can all get acquainted. Friday nights are good for me, what about everyone else? I'll throw out a date here: How about Friday March 23?

Friday the 23rd if fine with me. I'm not sure where everyone is coming from, but I live in Delmar so I can get anywhere pretty quickly. How about somewhere in Colonie? Or, there is a new Vietnamese restaurant on Delaware Ave - where Thatcher's used to be - I haven't been there, but have wanted to try it. What does everyone else think?

Is the 23rd alright for Jenni? She wrote in her reply that she can only meet Saturday or Sunday evenings. Also as a Vegetarian I can usually find something to eat at almost any restaurant but Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants are more difficult because of their use of fish stock.

I forgot about Jenni only being available Saturdays & Sundays. Saturday 3/24 is good for me. How about you all?
