Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson are both up for Best Supporting. The season finale got a nom for writing -- well deserved!! There is also a directing and editing nom.

I think they deserve more ... including best series, rather than a lot of the warhorses that are up. But ... whatever. :P

I was surprised they weren't up for best series. But then again, neither was "24" which won last year!

My FAVORITE nomination though was in the Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics Category. "Dick in a Box", music and lyrics by Justin Timberlake (and others) as performed on Saturday Night Live. Priceless!

I was also pleased to see that Scrubs got a couple of music-related noms. They integrate music so well, it's just amazing. I'm sorry Scrubs has been so unloved through its tenure. I don't have anything against most of the comedys nominated, but Scrubs is falling-down funny, very original and innovative, and the acting is great. *sigh*

I haven't watched Scrubs recently, but in the past, LOVED the show. The writing was clever, fresh, and laugh-out-loud funny. I was a bit surprised by all of the "Two and a Half Men" nominations--is the show really that funny?! I have to admit, I've never seen it before, and really, never felt inclined.
