For crying out loud - why is this thing so difficult to understand??? I'm not stupid, and have managed to figure out all kinds of things to do with it - but this issue is making me nuts. Here it is:
I purchased Season 2 of The Office. Downloaded and it synced with my iPod. I went to Germany, watched a few episodes. Back at home I charged and synced my iPod - now the episodes won't sync. I see them in my Library, but they aren't on the pod. So I created a Playlist for them, but they STILL WON'T show up on my pod. WTH????
Anyone wanna assist? Or send me your addy - I'll send you said offending pod.

I'll take the ipod ;)
I've had that happen but it corrected itself when I rebooted my computer.

I'll take it too! :D I'm no good to help you but good luck! Have you called Apple's Genius phone line? They are good to talk you through similar to calling Dell or HP when you have a computer problem.

You know, I've had battery issues with my IPod, and most recently couldn't get more than 20 minutes out of it. I called Apple (ugh), and they suggested I restore my IPod since it could be a software prob. They said if that didn't fix it, they would replace the battery. I VERY hesitently did the restore, thinking "what does this have to do with the battery?", but to my surprise, it worked! I tested the battery and got over 5 hours. So maybe a restore will help your prob?

find yourself a 14 - 16yr old boy. I would loan you mine but...I desperately need him more and more with each technical step that I take.
I had a problem where a book seemed to NOT go into my audiobooks on my IPOD. My son messed with it and said that sometimes. for unknown reasons, file sees themselves as music - even though it is not music. He looked and found it.... yes in the music....which I did not like it there. He then moved it where I could find it better.
I'll ask him next time I see him about your problem and ask him for suggestions for you - I'll be back.

I had the same issue when I would make a certain playlist and could see it in my library but it wouldn't sync onto the ipod. I can't walk you through it because I'm not at home but I remember a box towards the bottom, middle that I had to check a box of what I wanted to sync to the ipod (ie. having 5 playlists on your library but only checking the box of 2 you want on your ipod).
Boy, that's clear as mud isn't it?!?:o
