At the end of the first day of school, we're having cookies and milk for the staff. I'm trying to come up with something creative to call it when I make up the invites. Any ideas?

Dee, I like that. Keep the ideas coming, though, because I'm always doing something for them, and would like to have a surplus of ideas, since my creativity starts to lag around...oh, mid-September. ;)

"First Day School Sanctioned "Pretzels and Beer"

"After School Snack"

"Back to Snack" (OK, even I think that's weird...maybe someone can bulid on that?)

We have a name for that--Choir Practice. :D So, everybody goes to practice their hymns on the way home on Fridays.

I think cookies and milk = after school snack. So, I'm envisioning some kind of invite that says "Back to School" but then putting "after" and "Snack" around the "school."

Not much of a play on words, though. :(
