In case you hadn't heard ... the wishful thinking and rumors are true ... Marion Ravenwood (http://starwarsblog.wordpress.com/2007/07/26/indy-iv-cast-and-crew-chime-in-for-comic-con-greeting/#more-209)is BACK.

Raiders is pretty much my favorite "fun" movie ever, for a variety of reasons. (I saw it 13 times in various releases and screenings, before I ever had cable or owned a VCR.) I was lukewarm about the sequels, although I enjoyed them on a basic level. THIS makes my day, my week.

I've had a bad run of luck this summer ... Murphy's Law has bitten me more times than I want to count. There have been four highlights so far: Seeing The Police, my fav band of all all all time ... learning about the new X-Files movie ... this new Indy movie ... and that Karen Allen is finally back in the series.

Woo freakin' hoo.

When is the movie scheduled for release? Love the Indy series!!! and especially Ford.

Like many, I've watched these more times than I can count, and I'm happy to hear Indy is returning. Oddly enough, just before the annoucement I had an itch to watch them all again, then discovered that I don't own any of the DVDs, even in my oversized library. I was thinking of buying the set..but now that I have an HD player, I'm thinking I should wait, although Spielberg et al are very odd about releases, so who knows if one is forthcoming?

Thanks for the news! I saw Raiders five times in the theater the year it was released. :eek:

Marion was my favorite of Indiana's love interests.

I can't believe that it will take less than one year from the start of filming to release.

Oh I am so excited. Can't wait till May. I am so glad Harrison Ford is still playing Indy. I thought I heard they were casting someone else in the part. It never would have been the same for me, just like James Bond hasn't been the same since Sean Connery stopped playing the part. IMHO;)

I just went to check, yes, I have all three movies (on VHS) with a note stuck to one saying that the last time we watched all three was 13 years ago. Time to watch them all again before May. :D

I love Indiana Jones. I had posters on my walls as a kid and have watched all 3 movies countless times. I can't wait to watch this new movie. I've been hoping they'd make a 4th since I saw the last one.
