Hi Tammy,
You're the first ... I know what you mean about busy, though. I've got 2 kids under 2, so I'm busy but NEED to get out and do grown-up stuff.

Where in NH do you live? We're in Deerfield.

Kimberly,

I live in Raymond, work in Merrimack and go to school in Nashua - so I am kinda all over. It would be nice if we could get some others involved! Maybe after they see this exchange, people will get interested (hint!hint! to all you people reading this.)

Kimberly,

I live in Southern NH and may be interested in this. Have there been any other takers? I am hesitant only because I am so busy, but it sounds like fun!

I've just been reading about your interest in starting a Southern NH club. I am in Westford, MA, and the Newton club which was recently formed is just too far for me. If this club set up in the Nashua, NH area, that would work better for me. Please let me know if something comes together.

Hi! to all who have posted lately. You may not be aware, but there is a Seacoast area group that has been meeting since late August, early September. We've had several very fun and delicious dinners thus far after meeting in a couple of really good restuarants. We have 6 to 8 members from Northern Mass., Southern NH and Southern Maine. There was another group that was meeting in the Plasitow area of NH. You may want to check on earlier postings. Our group hasn't posted in a while and maybe theirs hasn't either. We might be a little too far for you -- we aren't really near Nashua, but if you would like more info just post a note and we'll try to respond. Wish you luck, it's a lot of fun, you get to try new foods and meet new people. Angie

I am in Nashua and would be very interested in a supper club in the southern NH area. My husband and I recently relocated back to the area from Minneapolis and miss our supper club there! I would be happy to help set something up if there is some interest.

I think I responded to everyone after Kimberly's e-mail, but in case it didn't reach you...I agree with Kimberly in that we might have enough to make this thing a go. I love to cook and am somewhat new to the area and thus, don't have alot of friends here. I would love the opportunity to meet some others who share in my interest of cooking. Any other opinions?!

Kimberly and Tammy,

When we started our group last July and August, there were several people who had posted to the BB who were from souther NH and northern Mass who were over your way. I think there was someone from Plaistow. We were a little far for them to travel. You might want to chack back in the archives to see their messages and see if you could connect with any of them. Our group is great and we have a lot of fun, and it is a great way to meet people, especially if you are new to the area. If you need some help or suggestions on how to get started, we'd be glad to gove them. We first met a couple of times in restuarants convenient to most of us to see how me might proceed and if we thought we could have a good group and that seemed to really be helpful. Let me know how you're doing getting started and Good Luck! Angie

Absolutely! We had our first meeting in March at Michael Timothy's Bistro in Nashua, and it was so fun. There was one woman who was interested but unable to join us that evening, so if you come to the next meeting you won't be the only "new" person. If you'd like to email me for the details, feel free!

Hello all, Epsom, NH here. Can someone please explain to me how the Supper Club works. I have a pretty good idea but want to get it right. Thanks... Enjoy the beautiful weather.

The way ours works (so far, since we've only had one meeting, with the 2nd one tonight) is that we are meeting monthly at a restaurant, just to chat and decide where to go next! Soon we hope to begin meeting at each other's houses and planning menus to either cook that night or to have each person make a dish and bring it. There seems to be a strong interest in ethnic cuisines, so it should be fun to try new things!

If you are able, feel free to join us at Indian Village tonight!

Cheers,
Kimberly

P.S. Please feel free to email me directly if you have any more questions http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Hello KPK, thanks for the information. I thought it was all about getting together at a diff home every month and everyone taking part in cooking up a storm. I am interested in joining or forming a Grandparents Supper Club in the Epsom or Concord area.
Any grands out there interested ??????

is there a supper club up & running in southern NH?? If so, is it too late to join? I live in Nashua. I was involved in one in the Philly area and it was great fun!

Just thought I would update this in case others are looking to join a supper club in our area...

Our July grilling meeting was a great success and we are beginning to plan August's meeting in Amherst.

I'm another CL fan in Southern NH and thinking about getting involved in a club. Haven't seen any recent postings to this thread - are you still together? Can someone fill me in?

Thanks!

Jasmine-Rose -

We are still active and are meeting monthly! There are about six of us meeting regularly and we have been picking themes each month and all bringing a course. Generally, we meet on Thursday nights after work and bring our dishes mostly prepared ahead of time. If you are interested in joining us, email me at the address in my profile.
