I wanted to start a thread on Amber.....what a mess! Anyone else agree?

Holy smokes, yes! From the way she was acting when Nick was sent home, you'd think they were a couple!

She really shattered her image of being such a good friend to everyone when she lied to Nick.

I can't believe that she handles EACH AND EVERY situation by crying and acting irrational...and oh yeah, she is a single mother!! What sort of an example is she setting for her daughter by crying all the time and being unable to handle simple situations?

Yikes!!

If she's not crying her eyes out she has this terrible glum look on her facce. I do agree, you would have thought she was the one Nick had the crusch on instead of Danielle. I just said to my husband that I was tired of watching her cry.

However, she makes for good TV watching.

Not to change the subject, but what do you think will happen between Danielle and Nick when the show is over? I was pretty convinced that Nick's feelings were real, but was not expecting Danielle to evict him...Nick is WAY more attractive than Danielle's current boyfriend though...and she does live in the OC where looks can make or break you!

I told DH last night that I thought what Nick said when he stood up and address the house was very romantic. Nick *seems* like a good guy but I would be wary of any guy that played professional sports....big time PLAYERS!!!! Especially one as young as Nick. And who knows about Daniele, she must be somewhat messed up since her father is Evil Dick! Talk about father/daughter issues....Yikes!!!

I used to like Evil Dick, but now he thinks it's his show and his game to control. So what if others lie or play to their advantage? He then gets in a yelling match with them (Jen and Kail, mostly) or throws iced tea on Jen's head. What's up with that?

I am pretty impressed by Jen. There is no way I could handle everyone treating me like they treat her and she does it with a smile on her face too!

Shoot - I thought I was up to date then read Nick was sent home..... I didn't watch last night yet. Oh well. It was one or the other anyway.

The reason I appreciate Amber's crying episodes is because I am so glad there is someone in this world who is MUCH more sensitive than me. I thought I took the cake for crying for very little reason - but she is worse than me. So for that reason, I'm glad Amber is on this show.

I'll write more once I watch last night's show and read the rest of this thread. I wonder what my summers would be without Big Brother? I can't believe it's been on for 8 years and that I've watched it every year.

LOL! Me too! I cry at the drop of a hat and yet I'm nothing like Amber. Okay, crying about someone getting kicked off is one thing but when she was bawling after the POV challenge it seemed uncalled for. And she's way over the top with the, "you're such a beautiful person" stuff. Her crying wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for all the face contorting she does.

It has been some time since we've had a Big Brother thread so I wanted to bring up old news with a new "Mikeism." When he was defending Jen (stupid in and of itself) he told Joe that she was just being "directive." Joe asks, "She was just being direct?" Mike just seemed so empty. I loved how Dustin kinda told him that.

Ok, I watched it today. Now I'm up to date. I was ok with Nick being sent home. I do think Dick is getting very annoying and I think his behavior is very childish. Jen's comment to Danielle about her feeling bad for her because of Dick being her father (not exact - but something along those lines) was unnecesary and rude, but I understood her point. She does handle his remarks and actions with grace. I find Jen obnoxious, but would definitely like to see Dick go first.

I can't wait to see who gets HOH and who they nominate. I really like Eric - I think he's hilarious, even with his odd eybrow movements. I hope he gets far.

I like Eric too. In the past two or three episodes they refer to Zach as some sort of tool who everyone can't stand. I hadn't picked up on that before and don't really know what the story is with him...am I missing something?

I am slightly addicted to this season now....I can't help myself, it's just so good. I think Eric is my favorite contestant, but I kind of like Danielle too, and I think Dick is enjoyable to watch, even though he's awful to people. I'm so nervous about what will happen to Eric this week...

Do any of you guys watch the 24/7 live feeds? I know they try and edit all the best bits into the show, but there are like tons of other awesome moments that never make it. I think this means I am officially a BB junkie but it's definitely worth the subscription, for the entertainment value alone. Plus, you get to talk about stuff like veto competitions way before they com on TV... ;)

I'm SO mad at the person who sent that sign over the house! Poor Eric. Well, now he's playing the game at least. Before we never saw him unless he was reading America's Player stuff.

I was very thankful that America chose Jessica as the person Eric will say he will take to the final two. I got a little worried when it seemed like Jen turned Jessica against Eric. It seems like Jameka talked her out of it though. Hopefully things will work out for him.

I'm torn. I'm starting to have my feelings go against Danielle and Dick (both of whom I liked) because they are against Eric but Danielle and Dick are right that it was Eric who went against them with his vote. I really hope that Eric gets to stay this week.
