Suggestion?

On another bulletin board I visit from time to time...the folder is actually a light bulb that "lights up" to indicate a new post since your last visit...I see where the light bulbs appear on the FIRST page when you log in to the bulletin board...perhaps we could have the folder change to a different color when there are new posts?

I find this really helpful...even more so than the flaming folder or red dot, since one can always check the column with the number of replies to see if it is a hot topic...

Just thought I'd throw that out for consideration...

I also like the lightbulbs indicating "new posts since your last visit" so I've made the appropriate changes to the Cooking Light Community page. The lightbulbs are now working!

Oops...I meant on the Great Food page itself...where we post the actual MESSAGES...I guess that is impossible? It really doesn't help much to have lightbulbs on the Community page...we know there will always be new posts when you get inside...

Oh well, I guess we can't have everything, so don't worry...I am satisfied with the boards the way they are now. Just hard to know how far down in the posts you need to go to see which ones have new responses...

oops. Sorry. Right now we aren't able to make those changes. I think that's what the date on the right is for though and also why they are arranged on the main Great Food board page with the most recently updated threads first.
