Search Function

This question is related to some of the others already mentioned and I don't know if it was discussed before but ...

When I do a search, say for "salads", the search brings up all the threads but I cannot get to the page - when I click on the thread it says "The page is not available" or something like that.

As was mentioned before, we are getting repeat requests and I cannot even give these members a link or tell them to do a search because of this problem.

The search option is GREAT, but only if it actually works. Can anyone shed light on this problem????

When we were having problems with the boards not loading properly, we started to archive threads on a daily basis. There is a bug with this that we have not been able to solve yet. When you perform a search on "salads" it will generate results that include the "old" location of that thread and ALSO the "new" archived location. If you look closely, you will probably find some of the results have the same thread title, but are located in different places - some on the Great Food board and some in the Archive. In these cases, you have to use the address for the archived thread. You may get several pages of results and the results from the Archives are located at the end of your search result page.

I hope this helps a bit. It bugs me that those links don't work - and I've pretty much stopped archiving until we get this new problem worked out. Thanks.
